Corporate Manslaughter Act Passed!

As of the 6th April 2008 organisations whose failure in health & safety lead to the death of an individual can face prosecution and unlimited fines.

And about time! To many senior managers and directors are not aware of the basic responsibilities that they carry. Since starting our Health & Safety Training for Directors and Senior Managers it has become apparent that the majority of Directors are still not fully up to speed in this area.

Whilst we can all appriciate the problems of the endless plathora of legislation that we are expected to understand and action, in this area we feal that a working knowledge is now fundamental.

The legislation has actually fallen short of the proposed full personal liability for our corporate actions, it still packs a punch!
